BDO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

BDO, SRL is an audit and consulting firm established in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic.

Our story begins in November 1975, when the lawyer Alberto Ortega decides to form his own firm of auditors: Ortega & Asociados. In 1977 the firm adopted the name of Ortega, González & Asociados, until mid-1991 when it returns to its original name. From 1981 to 2002 the firm maintained a representation agreement with Arhtur Andersen & Co., the United States, which was one of the largest and most reputable firms in the world.

Since August 2002 we are part as Member Firm of BDO International network and since then the acronym of this organization become part of our name, this being hereinafter BDO Ortega & Asociados, SRL.

In 2011 BDO Ortega & Asociados, SRL makes a merger with firmaSoriano Martinez & Asociados, SRL, which was founded by Mr. Genaro Soriano in 1989, and form the new name BDO, SRL.

BDO is a parent company of seven business units that offer Audit, Management Consulting, Tax Services Professional Training, Outsourcing, Human Resources and Risk and Technology.

We have two offices (Santo Domingo and Santiago) and a training center in Santo Domingo. Our team is made up of more than 160 professionals, including 14 partners from various areas of expertise are included.
