He has participated in audit engagements for major national and international companies.

Carlos A. Ortega was vice president of the Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Dominican Republic (ICPARD) for the years 2004-2006 which he participated as a member during the period 1996-1998. He was a member of the commission ICPARD accounting principles and has been the project sponsor of accounting principles and the quality control standard for CPA in effect. He also is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (active participation since 2002 in its program of Continuing Education), Casa San Pablo Foundation, Inc. (Board Member 2003-2005), Archdiocesan Secretariat Cursillo Movement ( was Treasurer), Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santiago, American Chamber of Commerce, and other civil institutions.

Lic. Carlos A.
